I’m back! Ha! Actually I thought this deserved a spot on my socials… I just finished thee cutest thing I’ve ever made 😍

I love this little guy I made as a gift and I want to make a ton more because it was so fun…

I usually like to add items to my shop when I have fun making them and can make them over and over again…

This turtle (or a variation of it) is one that just might show up for sale 🎉

Each row is 240 stitches across (by accident)…

I meant to only do 230 stitches across, but didn’t realize it until this temperature blanket was halfway through January.

Everyday I am crocheting one row on this blanket based on the high temp of that day. Each color represents 10 degrees (shown in the last picture). I do not have a color for 19 below because I don’t believe it will get there. We definitely got to 19 below in January, but it was the lowest not the highest.

I never thought I would try making this type of blanket because I didn’t think I’d be able to keep up with it… BUT I came across and her organization skills are AMAZING. So I copied the way she did it and it really helps me stay on top of it.

Not pictured is a notebook where I log the day with the high temp, the color used, and check off whether I did it or not because there is days where I’m not able to crochet the row, but I can do it on another day…

My kids LOVE these heart pillows ♥️

Really… my kids love anything I make. They are my number one fans.

I usually put something out at night for my kids to wake up to on Valentine’s Day like a chocolate box and a stuffy. I don’t get too crazy during the little holidays, but my mom always made them fun and it is something I remember ‘til this day. I think it’s good to make your kids feel special and loved.

What are some things you have done for Valentine’s Day for your kiddos?

I have really started enjoying crochet and (dare I say) it might make me a little happier than knitting 🫢

I love how these hearts turned out!

I will be creating more crochet items to add to my Etsy.
May you get a chance to enjoy them just as much as I do ♥️

Also, if you have been following for a while you will know I was working on a granny square sweater a few posts down, BUT I ended up taking most of it out. I kept the granny squares and will still be making a sweater with them just in a different way.

I’ll make some updated posts on that in the near future.
