Wednesday, August 14, 1968 - Sunday, June 23, 2024

Lenora Elizabeth Cason, aged 55, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Community Hospice in Vidalia, Georgia. She was born on Wednesday, August 14, 1968 in Hazlehurst, Georgia.

Lenora dedicated 11 years to McRae Manor Nursing Home as an Assistant Dietary Manager. Her commitment to care and service has touched the lives of many during her tenure. She attended New Hope Baptist Church.

Lenora leaves behind her loving husband of 35 years, Terry Daniel Cason of Helena; her sons, Daniel Cason of Helena and Hank (Shelly) Cason of McRae. She was a proud grandmother to Zachary, Alice, Lincoln, Chloe, and Josie Cason. Lenora is also survived by her brother Willie Griffin of Griffin; Sisters - Susie (Tommy) Williams of Hazlehurst, Michell (Gary) Cain of Pasadena, Texas, Lanice Hall of Lumber City and Teresa (Bruce) Gilder of Alamo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Caroll Griffin and Aline Young Griffin and siblings Geraldine Bryant, Roger Griffin, George Griffin, Howard Griffin, Wendell Griffin, Randall Griffin and Edwress Griffin.

Visitation will be held at Lowes Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Lowes Funeral Home with Rev. John Conley officiating. Interment will follow at Helena City Cemetery.
