Four C&J employees have successfully completed the Plastics Process Technician Apprenticeship (PPTA) program. This program is recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry as an “earn while you learn” model, combining hands-on experience with classroom education.
The apprenticeship includes 4,000 hours of on-the-job training along with over 340 hours of classroom instruction, covering OSHA-30 safety training, plastic materials, and core math skills. The program is designed to develop highly skilled technicians while strengthening participants’ knowledge and performance in injection molding processing.
C&J Industries has partnered with Keystone Community Education Council to support both the Plastics Process Technician Apprenticeship (PPTA) and the Building Maintenance Repairer Apprenticeship (BMRA) programs. Over the years, these programs have helped numerous C&J employees advance their skills and careers.
