♻️ Big Operations. Less Waste.

With thousands of devices moving through Pierson's configuration and deployment center, packaging materials are an inevitable part of our daily operations. What we do with those materials matters!

We're proud to share our 2026 recycling impact so far:

📦 105,000 lbs. of cardboard

♻️ 22,886 lbs. of protective foam

🌱 14,020 lbs. of LDPE plastic

That's 141,906 pounds (nearly 71 TONS!) of materials recycled through our operations this year!

From cardboard boxes and protective packaging to the plastic wrap used throughout our facilities, we're committed to responsibly managing these materials and reducing what ends up in landfills.

Because leading the way in IT and AVL solutions means thinking beyond technology. 🌎

🚩 RIGGING RED FLAGS: Yes, We Actually Found This.

Sometimes our rigging inspections uncover normal wear and tear.

And sometimes… we find this. 😬

This speaker was discovered during an inspection with a mounting setup that immediately raised concerns for our team.

When equipment is suspended overhead, how it is attached matters. Improvised mounting methods, questionable attachment points, improperly secured hardware, and inadequate secondary safety measures can create a serious hazard—especially when that equipment is positioned above students, performers, employees, or an audience.

And just because something has been hanging there for years doesn't mean it's safe.

Regular rigging inspections help identify issues that can easily go unnoticed from the ground and give facility managers an opportunity to address them before they become a much bigger problem.
