🌟 This past Saturday, one of our local heroes spent their evening grocery shopping at a beloved Southern Oregon icon.📍

🛒 As they filled their cart, joined by others hunting for great deals, it was clear how simple choices — like shopping locally — make a big difference. These same folks could’ve gone online and bypassed this store, but they didn’t. And that decision matters. 🙏

🛍️ When we shop elsewhere, it impacts our community in ways we often don’t see. This local grocery store, for example, is known for supporting nonprofits, helping kids and families, and giving back to the area where we live and play. 💛

🚦What does this mean? As small business owners, we rely on traffic to keep the lights on, create payroll for staff and food on the table for our own families. Even our pets rely on local transactions. 🐶

🦸🏻‍♀️🦸🏼‍♀️ Local Heroes, Heather Stewart and Melissa Shreeve, had dinner this week at Tekkamaki Sushi with Karen Kahusi from BBSI, a local business providing payroll, Workers' Comp, HR and business consulting services in Medford.

👏🏻 What do these three ladies and this eatery have in common? They all support local businesses.

🍱 These networking ninjas love good food. When they were deciding where to meet, Tekkamaki Sushi was at the top of their list.

🎯 You see, when you support local folks, we all win. These fine women were able to exchange ideas, lean on each other for guidance and exhale after a long day. The venue they chose, conveniently located at 2105 Roberts Rd, was ideal to fit their needs.
