Take three minutes to check where your household stands.
This quick check can help you identify what is ready and what still needs follow-up. It is not a substitute for completing an emergency plan.
**1. ALERTS**
Is your household enrolled in official emergency alerts?
Start at ORAlert.gov to find the appropriate local alert system:
https://oralert.gov/
**2. ZONE AND ROUTES**
Can you identify your evacuation zone and more than one possible route?

**3. GO-BAG**
Check what is ready and note what needs refreshing for each household member—including medications, essential documents, pets or livestock, and anyone who may require additional assistance or time.
Then check in with a neighbor, friend, or loved one:
**Are your alerts on? Do you know your zone? Is your go-bag ready?**
Readiness is one way neighbors can care for one another and support the work of first responders. At 1-800-BOARDUP of Southern Oregon, we believe people come first.
Preparedness cannot guarantee safety. **If an evacuation is underway, follow official instructions immediately. Do not delay to complete this checklist or gather belongings.**
Start at ORAlert.gov, confirm your county’s official alert and evacuation resources, and share this checklist with someone you care about.
