Celebrate new wine, come on! Starting this week, our estate grown and hand harvested 2023 Cabernet Franc will be available in the tasting room. Stop by to try a sample, have a glass, and maybe take a bottle home. Hands both large and (very) small worked hard to bring you this wine :-)

Honoring Boots: Five Years of Directing Flavors Comes to An End.

This next week will be Boots’ last here at Dunbar Farms. Boots is leaving on good terms, and we want to sincerely thank him for all he has given us over the years. While we will greatly miss Boots, we’re excited to cheer him on as he embarks on his next adventure.
For the past five years, Brian “Boots” English has been the creative force behind our dinner service at Dunbar Farms, serving as our Director of Flavors. During his time here, Boots crafted new specials every single week — imaginative pizzas, entrées, soups, and desserts that reflected the seasons and his unique culinary style. His creativity turned our tasting room dinners into an experience our guests looked forward to week after week, and his passion for showcasing farm-fresh and organic ingredients helped shape the identity of our kitchen.
Beyond his culinary talents, Boots championed sustainability in meaningful ways. Under his leadership, our kitchen operated with a zero-waste philosophy, carefully composting food scraps and ensuring that every ingredient was used to its fullest potential. His commitment to responsible, thoughtful cooking aligned deeply with the values of Dunbar Farms, and his work leaves a lasting legacy on how we nourish both our guests and our land. Boots was integral to the creation and success of our prepared food program, and we will always be grateful for his contributions.
