Words of a Life Coach❤️ “Working with teens is not for the faint of heart. Especially if you are like me and feel every emotion these kids are feeling. When they cry, I cry. When they laugh, I’m ugly crying laughing right along side of them. Doing life with these kids is such a blessing, but man, some days my heart can’t take it. I cried for a good part of my shift last night. Not because it was hard and these kids pushed me to my breaking point, but because their struggles and hurts are so real. My heart breaks with every uncertainty they have. Will they have a safe home to live in when they transition from us? Will they feel loved like they do with us? Will they be okay emotionally and physically? I’m constantly worrying, constantly teaching, hoping I am giving them the tools to be successful in their next journey. If you are a parent, hug your kids tight for me. Let them know how much they are loved, always. There are kids out there who have NEVER known that love. If you come across one, hug them even tighter. “💛 👏🏼
