Labor Day weekend is calling, and there's no better place to spend it than at Ravissant.

Come out for the long weekend, sit back with a glass of w**e, and take in the vineyard while summer winds down. Whether you've got a full weekend to spend with us or just an afternoon, we'd love to have you at the table.

And if you happen to have a horse, we've got something special for you. Our Vines & Views Horseback Tour is happening September 6th, a guided ride through the vines on your own horse, with a stop at Ravissant Cellars for a glass of w**e or tasting before heading back through the vineyard. It's a bring-your-own-horse experience built for riders who want to see the property from a whole new angle.

Something exciting is happening to the vines.

The Syrah and Petite Sirah grapes at Carpenter Hill have entered veraison, the stage where grapes begin to ripen and change color as they prepare for harvest. Those little green berries are just starting to turn shades of purple and red, as the vines shift their energy toward the fruit, building sugar, developing aroma, and softening as they move toward ripeness.

It's one of the most important transitions in the vine's yearly cycle, and it's happening right now, right here at Ravissant. Take a walk through the vineyard this summer and look closely at the Syrah and Petite Sirah vines, you can catch the transformation happening in real time.

There's a lot going on in the vineyard, even when it looks like the grapes are just hanging in the sun.

Picture this: a warm August afternoon, clue in hand, wandering through rows of vines with your team trying to figure out where the next hint is hiding.

That's the Vineyard Scavenger Hunt, happening this Saturday at 2pm.

Somewhere between the riddles and the tasting stations tucked throughout the property, you'll find yourself slowing down to actually notice the vineyard, the way the light hits the vines, the smell of the soil, the view from the far row you never usually walk. Then you'll toast to whatever you just figured out and keep moving.

Some evenings at Ravissant are hard to top, and August Supper Club was one of them.

We spent the evening around the table with our members, enjoying a summer dinner as the sun set over the vineyard. We also shared the first pours of Tribute, our newest w**e, which made the evening feel like a celebration in more ways than one.

It was a beautiful evening, and a great reminder of why we look forward to Supper Club every month. These dinners are about bringing people together and creating a reason to enjoy the vineyard in a way you don’t get to every day.

Today, we’re excited to introduce the newest addition to the Ravissant Cellars lineup, a w**e created to honor the history of Carpenter Hill and the man who first established the vineyard.

Tribute is our new red blend of Merlot, Syrah, and Petite Syrah, made from vines at Carpenter Hill that have been around for over 25 years.

Lee Mankin, the original owner of Carpenter Hill Estate, was a pioneer in viticulture and w**emaking in the Pacific Northwest. His vision and work established the vineyard we know today, and more than two decades later, those vines are still producing exceptional fruit.

It’s a reminder of where Carpenter Hill began and how that history continues at Ravissant.

Tribute is available starting today.
