Good morning everyone!
This month marks the one year anniversary of my full time dedication to working exclusively as the owner of Tactical Business Group! Over the past 12 months, our work together has translated to over $7 million dollars in grant payouts so far (not including pending grants) - I cannot thank you enough for the opportunity to serve you, even if just with a phone call or an email! My goal for the next 12 months is to double that number, and I am determined to make this happen.
After I had officially completed the initialization of the GEMT program for the Oregon Health Authority in 2019, I set my sights on the new goal of working independently and having a direct impact on Oregon’s fire departments. Its been a BUSY year, but I’ve heard each and every one of you and listened to your much appreciated input.
With that being said - as of January, 2021, Tactical Business Group will be rolling out our ambulance billing operation! Numerous clients have requested for me to consider opening a billing agency, and this was something that I was not initially open to as I didn’t want billing to take away from my ability to serve you as a grant writer. As time progressed and the requests grew, I decided that this is something that I should take into consideration, but only if I could go about this in a manner that would not reduce my quality of service to you.
About a month ago, a miracle unfolded that led me to conversations with the one person who could make the billing operation work for my clients while keeping the feel of Tactical Business Group - Angie Hambright (former Ambulance Billing Supervisor - Springfield Billing)!
As of today, Angie Hambright is officially an employee of Tactical Business Group, serving as our Billing Operations Director! Angie brings with her over 20 years of ambulance billing experience, including several lead and management positions, and has received numerous awards and a unit citation for her work. She is an individual who my clients have asked for by name to seek out and add to my team - an absolutely excellent suggestion! Please give her a warm welcome to the team on her first day!
Moving forward, I will continue to be the lead regarding grants and consulting, as well as contracting (including ambulance billing). Angie will be the lead for day-to-day billing operations, and will assist me with other projects as needed.
We are utilizing Zoll Billing - Zoll's new cloud-based software provides our clients with direct, fully encrypted access to their billing software from any device 24/7. Zoll Billing integrates with all ePCR software and provides ambulance agencies with customizable access to the real-time status of patient accounts within the billing cycle.
October and November are my two busiest months of the year with GEMT cost reports and numerous grant deadlines - I will always do my best to provide you with a prompt response, but please know that I am hard at work ensuring that I complete your projects long ahead of their respective deadlines.
As we head into the busy holiday season, please remember to keep yourselves and your families safe! Again - thank you for a FANTASTIC first year! Cheers to making year two twice as good!
