Lets talk business. šŸ¤“
Meet .build
What are the challenges that we face on a day to day as builders. They're often undiscussed and under the radar. It's not always about what's happening in the field but what's happening in the business itself. What we do in the field is complicated and risky enough. Not understanding the data and information that supports and lives behind every move we make is a dangerous game to play. Let's get down and dirty with how we run the business to support the field. It starts with having the write platforms in place behind you in order to input and understand you numbers. I use as our preferred partner and we will dig deeper into the actual functions we execute.

Lets roll šŸ˜‰

Most people use it as a reason to stay comfortable. That comfort becomes a cage.

If it goes wrong, you learn and your life keeps moving. If it goes right, you change your standard forever.

Make the call. Take the step. Do the hard thing today šŸ‘ŠšŸ»šŸ”„

A CEO isn’t paid to be the hero.

A CEO is paid to build a machine that runs with standards, even when they’re not there. If every question, every decision, every problem has to land on your shoulders, your business isn’t growing. It’s depending.

Hire minds to make decisions, not just hands to stay busy. Train ownership. Define the standard. Inspect it. Repeat.

That’s how you scale without breaking šŸ‘ŠšŸ»

If the roots are shallow, the first real storm will expose it.

Feed your soul. Sharpen your mind the same way you sharpen your tools. Excellence isn’t an act. It’s the foundation!

Share this with someone building for the long term, not just for the highlight reel 🌱

3 habits that protect your family time while you scale šŸ‘‡šŸ»

1ļøāƒ£ Protect the calendar first. If it isn’t scheduled, it gets stolen. Block family time like you block job site time.

2ļøāƒ£ Build decision-making capacity. The fastest way to lose nights and weekends is being the only one who can make the call. Train ownership.

3ļøāƒ£ Finish the day clean. A quick end-of-day plan, updates, and priorities for tomorrow prevents late-night fires.

Scaling isn’t just building more work. It’s building structure that buys your life back!

A strong scope protects everyone.

So here’s the standard: define ā€œdoneā€ before you start. What’s included, what’s not, who decides, and when decisions must be made. Because if you don’t define the scope, the job site will define it for you.

Save this, and send it to a business owner who needs it šŸ‘ŠšŸ»šŸš€

That version of you isn’t built when you ā€œfeel ready.ā€

It’s built in the small decisions you make daily. The way you handle pressure. The standard you refuse to lower. The discipline you choose when nobody’s watching.

Stop waiting for confidence. Train it.
Stop waiting for the moment. Build it.

Start today. Your future self will thank you šŸš€šŸ”„

People love talking about results, the wins, the revenue, the finished product. That’s the part above ground. But what holds it all up is what most people never see.

Your roots are your character. Your values. Your standards. The decisions you make when doing the right thing costs you something. That’s where real strength is built.

If the roots are shallow, the first storm will expose it. If the roots are deep, you can grow without losing yourself.

Build the foundation first. The height will come 🌱

Do this to build a team that doesn’t depend on you šŸ‘‡šŸ»

1ļøāƒ£ Define ā€œdoneā€ clearly so nobody is guessing.
2ļøāƒ£ Assign one owner to every task, no shared responsibility.
3ļøāƒ£ Set deadlines that don’t move unless there’s a real reason.
4ļøāƒ£ Use the ā€œtwo options + recommendationā€ rule for every problem.
5ļøāƒ£ Train decisions weekly, review what went right and what didn’t.
6ļøāƒ£ Inspect what you expect, standards don’t enforce themselves.
7ļøāƒ£ Stop rescuing. Coach, then step back.

If everything still runs through you, you don’t have a team, you have dependence!

ā€œI’ll do it tomorrowā€ is the most expensive sentence you can say.

Tomorrow turns into next week. Next week turns into next month. And one day you realize you didn’t lose motivation, you lost time.

Discipline isn’t a feeling. It’s a decision. Start small, but start today. One action. One call. One workout. One hard conversation. One step forward.

Because the cost of waiting is your life staying the same šŸ‘ŠšŸ»
