Cimarron Telecommunications is a company created in 2013 specifically to provide a robust Internet service solution for the citizens of Meeker and Rangely. We have been providing Rangely with service over a fiber backed microwave system. We are now pleased to announce our partnership with Rio Blanco Broadband and we will be providing world class Internet speeds over microfiber to citizens living in both municipalities. We will continue to partner with Rio Blanco Broadband in their effort to provide true broadband speeds for those citizens living outside the boundaries of the fiber runs over the coming months.

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR CIMARRON TELECOMMUNICATIONS CUSTOMERS

If your fiber equipment looks like this picture below, please contact us.

Customers who are still using a Calix 716 ONT will need to have their equipment replaced with our new Calix 1101 ONT.

As part of ongoing network upgrades, all Calix 716 ONTs will be disconnected from the Fiber Community on November 1, 2026.

If you currently have one of these units, please contact us as soon as possible to schedule your free equipment upgrade and avoid an interruption to your service.

If you're unsure whether this applies to you, please reach out to us at 970-878-4421. We can check your equipment and help get your upgrade scheduled.

Cimarron is looking for an admistrative assistant for the Meeker office. Familiarity with Windows 11 a must with a background in customer service. The admin assistant will maintain strict compliance when dealing with confidential data. Some bookkeeping experience a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate. All our valued customers. I've been responding to after hours calls for several weeks. I now have access to the county 24hr call center that can check out your system and let us know if it is a network issue or a router issue or a major network failure.
