Did you know that is now airing all your dirty laundry regarding purchases and returns?
Do you think this will help or hurt you? The answer is complex.
If you are doing heavy sales volume, for example, 1000 units per month, this will help you. It infers trust and satisfaction.
What If you have 500 reviews, but the system is alerting customers in the SERP that you are only selling 50 units a month? This may hurt you! The low sales volume comes with trepidation. After All, why would an item with a lot of reviews be selling so few units???
The return messaging could be even more detrimental to your ASIN health, now the system is warning customers when products are frequently returned. What do you expect this will do to your sales in combination with slow sales velocity messaging?
They may as well dug your grave for you.
There is light at the end of the tunnel, YOU CAN reverse this trend, but the repair requires acknowledgment of a problem. Many sellers struggle here and find it easier to live in denial. It doesn't always mean there is a problem with the product or packaging itself, it may be a messaging issue.
Please pay attention to the new automated messaging on the PDP because it could make or break you. Think like a customer, not like a seller.
