We get a lot of call like this regarding injured wildlife, we're not a rescue as many people think. But if you need a place to take injured wildlife Florida Wildlife Hospital is a great and caring option.
They're a non profit and always looking for monetary donations to help our wildlife neighbors as well. ♥️
🐾Protect them from pets!🐾
Did you know that our top reason for patient admission in 2025 was pet attacks? ❤️🩹As sad as it is, many of our wild friends get picked up by our at-home furry friends pretty often. Whether a nest of bunnies was found by the family cat, or a baby Gopher Tortoise was mistaken for a tennis ball by a dog, any wild animal that comes into contact with your pet's mouth should be brought into FWH if it is safe to do so. Even if the critter doesn't look injured, the bacteria in your pet's mouth can be harmful to them. If you don't know what to do, please call the front office at (321) 254-8843. Thanks for helping us keep wildlife wild!✨💖
