Athenian Foods' Egg Lemon Sauce is the base for this delicious Lemon Tilapia entree. To prepare, we dredged the Tilapia cutlets through flour and seasonings and then cooked the fish with Athenian EVOO and butter until cooked through and golden brown. We then removed the fish to a platter and added a "large" splash of white wine, some garlic and a bit more butter back into the pan and cooked that until it was slightly reduced. We then added the AF Egg Lemon Sauce and an additional splash of lemon juice until incorporated and heated through. Then the last step was to add the fish back in with some capers in brine. The zest in the Egg Lemon Sauce paired with the capers is enough to give it a restaurant quality taste for a fraction of the restaurant cost.

In September, home grown tomatoes are bountiful. And Athenian Foods’ EVOO is the key ingredient to a delicious homemade bruschetta salad. We simply drizzle it over our alternating slices of tomato and mozzarella cheese, add an additional drizzle of balsamic glaze, and then top it off with ribbons of fresh basil and a pinch of salt and pepper. This salad is the perfect enhancement to any entree.
