What a fabulous show we had for our fourth show of the year !!!

Per usual my junior rider Eliza and Sandy came out with a bang at T-3 scoring a 74.8 and 70.8 confirming their spot at regionals and winning high point !

My next young rider Lilliana and her pony Tux recieved scores up to 63+ at 3rd level ! This girl continues to amaze me and will hopefully finish up her bronze this year !!! What her pony lacks in natural talent, Lilliana has made up for in hard work , dedication and believing in that pony so much !!

Jordan and the ginger Barbie came for their first show of the year ! She successfully showed the PSG to finish up her Q for regionals with scores up to 65 + ! I cant even begin to say how excited I am for their future !!!

I had a guest appearance of Ali Atkin and her horse from Columbia MO come down ! We had a fabulous lesson Friday and she successfully scored 63 + at her first time out at 3-3 !

Last but not least my girl Butterfly had a good test Saturday at 4-3 for a 68+ ( minus a solid effort of piaffe through her medium walk ) and then we spun around the PSG for our first time on Sunday for a 67.5 !

I think the thing that makes this most special is all of these horses are primarily ridden only by their riders !!! I’m so proud of how hard each and everyone of them have worked and insanely proud to be their coach ! Consistency is KEY, and they are all so committed !

Just coming off a whirlwind weekend of fantastic lessons . A HUGE thanks to Columbia Dressage and Combined Training Association for bringing me in, and a HUGE thanks to Stacey L. Bates for hosting me at her beautiful farm and amazing veterinary clinic, and her and Lauren Fritz for literally being the hostess’s of the mostest !

Not only was the weekend filled with great rides but also included amazing food , a super cute welcome basket , the best morning snuggles from the cutest dogs , tons of laughs , and have you ever horse BINGO !

Thank you guys again for hosting me and everyone else at home ( I have the best clients ) for allowing me a few days to travel to teach . I so enjoy teaching clinics and I’m so fortunate to have had such a full schedule in 2024 .

I will forever and always be a rider ( I think a MUST to be a good teacher ) , but nothing makes me happier than being a coach ! From debuts at 2nd Level, to gaining scores at 4th and PSG … EVERYONE rode BEAUTIFULLY ! I love our team !!! Parole was in a rare state Friday being a red head mare x100 , but pulled it together for a decent freestyle Saturday but with quite a few mistakes ! We all decided with the heat the horses have worked through the last couple weeks and with all
Q scores earned to cut the weekend early ( except for Tommy who killed his debut at 2-3 with a 73.3 on the infamous Gilly ) and rest up for the clinics ahead ( wahooo !!!) and regionals !!! 🎠🎠🎠

I’m sooo late to post ! But that is the life of a horse trainer ! So many first at the MDA show a couple weeks ago !!! I’m delighted to see most of my students on non - traditional horses holding their own in the show arena and gaining ground !!

P and I did our GP Freestyle for the second show with scores to 66.8 + earning my scores for my Gold freestyle bar as well as Q for regionals finished up !

Hayley and Eros debuted her first time out at Fourth Level with a 66 + !

Ansley continues to get stronger in the arena on her own Shay and pulled a 66+ in her second level Sunday !

Terry and Nalie had a few let’s say silly human errors and still managed to almost pull off her 1st Q score at 1-3 at her first time out !

LillIanna and Tux ( the spotted pony that could ) crushed her 1-3 test with a 68+ and scored 64+ at her first attempt at 2nd Level !!! 2/3 way to her bronze !

Meredith showed Sherrys Jenkins pony at his first recognized show with scores at training level to 64 + !! I have to say Meredith is one of the most confident show riders I have ever taught !

And last but not least , ELiza rode Kathy Hamilton Sandy to scores up to 74 + at her first time out at training level at recognized show ! This also earned her High Point !!!

I also saw the best Marikay and FaceTime who has been working her tail off with Amanda and her Grant from The Dressage Foundation debut her 4th Level 3 with scores to 66 + !! Almost to that Silver Medal !

So grateful for such a wonderful equine family ! Everyone met their initial goals set for the year ! Now we move onto the next !!! Cleaning up the test and prepping for regionals !
