I rise and raise my voice to speak in support of Whoopi Goldberg and the comments she made. I watched the program in real time on Monday because I enjoy hearing the opinions, feelings, facts and especially the 'view(s)' of women. I realize that the program is not necessarily a 'news' show but definitely an 'entertainment' show that engages the viewers with topical 'newsworthy' subjects with related commentary from host, co-hosts and other panelists.

From Ms Goldberg lived experiences and from my own as well, we fully recognize 'Black' as a 'racial' category with an ethnic component. However, I'm not of the opinion that 'Jew' or 'Jewish' is a 'racial' category when asked on a job application or the Census or a loan application or mortgage agreement that the 'Jewish' box must be mark as your 'race,' as appropriate. Under race, for the above-mentioned scenarios, if Black, you would mark the 'Black' block as your 'race.'

Subhuman race is not a legally recognized racial category. Mind you, the ADL wishes us to think so when White N**i Germans were committing genocide against 'White' Jews. White is a legally-recognized racial category. I understand that the ADL have made a recommendation that a Jew be considered for the co-hosting position left open by Ms. McCain's departure.

I, as an active citizen, will continue to speak to our government and corporate leaders and, specifically in this case, to the ADL.
