I came across a quote a couple of years ago that said, “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.”
I had no idea why that quote resonated with me or how it even applied to my life. Nonetheless, I posted it at my desk at work along with other affirmations so that I would see it everyday.
Almost a year later, I chose to invest in myself by getting an accountability partner (Cedrick LaFleur ). After a session or two, the quote started to make sense and I immediately texted my Coach. When “I” was ready and made the first step, God started to align me with people that would help me achieve my goals! Not only achieve my goals but believed in me when I didn’t quite believe in myself.
These are not just people that sound good on social media but people that are living and doing what I wanted for myself and provided a roadmap for me to get there🥺
Today, Romaro Spivey said “each one teach one” in a comment and I couldn’t have said it better!!
Stop trying to do it alone! If you know you want and need to grow both personally and professionally…invest in yourself! Surrounding yourself with like-minded people is priceless!
