This page has been for sometime every since I was involved in a house fire back December 1, 2021. The company shut down. But I’ve been asked over the years to bring it back. People miss well trained officers who maintained professionalism. If I decide to bring Special Response Security back, we will be bigger and better than ever.

On Monday, September 16, 2024, during the Blytheville City Council Meeting, Mayor Melissa Logan announced the appointment of Interim Chief John Fraizer to Chief of Police and Interim Assistant Chief Vanessa Stewart to Assistant Chief. Please, join us in congratulating Chief John Fraizer and Assistant Chief Vanessa Stewart on their new roles with the Blytheville Police Department and wish them well as they continue to lead the department and continue to serve the citizens of Blytheville.

It is with profound grief that we announce the untimely passing of our very own, Sergeant David Sydnor, on yesterday. Sgt. Sydnor has devoted over 40+ years as a public servant, serving the citizens of Miami Dade County for over 30yrs. He joined the FIU Police family back in June of 2016, where he served as a Patrol Sergeant for past 5yrs. Please keep Sgt Sydnor”s wife, Deanna, (FIU Police Communications Manager), brother in law, FIUPD Sgt Ralph Torres, family & friends, as well as his POLICE family in your prayers, as we navigate through these difficult times. 💔Rest Well Sgt. Sydnor, we will take it from here.

$3.3 MILLION DRUG BUST IN OKC: Look at all this fentanyl and crystal m**h seized in a single traffic stop on I-35 in Oklahoma City. A task force of city police, sheriff’s deputies and the DA's Office stopped Jamara Hendratta Hennings for driving erratically. She said she was driving back home to Ohio after staying with friends in Arizona, but deputies say she didn’t know the friends’ names or where they lived. Hennings said the friends loaned her the van. Deputies say a drug K-9 got a hit on the van where they found:
—75,000 fentanyl pills worth $2.25 million
—23.5 pounds of crystal m**h worth $1,035,000
—2.5 pounds of pre-cut co***ne worth $60,000

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that’s 100 times stronger than morphine and can kill you. Hennings was turned over to the United States Department of Homeland Security for federal charges.
