Clarion Security, a leading provider of security guard services in the Southeastern United States, has announced the acquisition of Federal Alarm, a renowned alarm installation and monitoring company based in Memphis, Tenn. This strategic move aims to enhance Clarion's service portfolio and expand its reach in the security industry.

“This acquisition marks a significant milestone for Clarion Security,” said Larry Heathcott, CEO/Owner of Clarion Security. “By integrating Federal Alarm’s capabilities, we’re able to offer our clients a more comprehensive and responsive security solution—one that strengthens their safety and peace of mind. We’re also exploring expanded services, including the option to dispatch Clarion security personnel to alarm calls, providing on-site guidance and elevated customer support.”

Through the recent consolidation in the security alarm industry, Federal Alarm is now the largest locally owned security and fire alarm service provider in the Memphis Market.

As a Clarion Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client’s property and personnel. You will know all site-specific policies and procedures, be attentive and alert, record and report incidents, and participate in the client’s emergency response procedures as appropriate and provide superior customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

● Be at least 18 years of age.
● Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment and to interact with customers, clients, and visitors of all categories.
● Obtain, hold, and maintain a Valid ARMED guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.
● As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
● Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
● Basic computer skills to operate innovative technology.
● Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and effectively.
● Ability to deescalate situations and clearly operate within and articulate the Use of Force Continuum.
● Able to:
o Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
o Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
o Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
o Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
