Every pump that comes into our shop has a story. Take a look into a recent evaluation we ran on a ITT Goulds Pumps 3196 centrifugal pump:

- The Impeller: Significant blade wear pointed to foreign material ingestion or cavitation, rather than volute rubbing.
- The Shaft: A deep cut forced a full replacement of the rotating assembly.
- The Details: We verified the need for open (non-shielded) bearings and cleaned up minor pitting in the stuffing box.

Spotting these clues early makes all the difference in extending your equipment's lifespan.
