I know we talk a lot in HR about aligning talent strategy and business strategy but what tools is your company using to make that alignment more of a practical reality? And what does that alignment look like at each phase of the talent management strategy?

I’ve seen alot of HR analytics and assessments in my career but none has helped capture team and leadership dynamics more clearly than PI.

“A survey of 1,001 employed women found that 74% wouldn’t have any cash savings left after eight weeks of unpaid maternity leave.”

While many companies are moving in the direction of paid leave, for many parents, the choice to have children is still a stressful decision as many still feel as though they have to make a choice between bonding with their new babies and keeping the bills paid. Unpaid leave only adds to the stress. While some employers may not have the means to provide paid leave, at least make the effort to see what you can do instead of focusing on your limitations.
