Build Healthy Places Network is launching Community Innovations for Racial Equity to build BIPOC-led community development capacity, support innovative community ownership models, and address the barriers within community development and health partnerships to effectively propel racial equity.
OPPORTUNITIES:
1) RFP for BIPOC-led community development corporations or BIPOC-led nonprofits advancing revitalization efforts motivated to engage healthcare partners to advance racial equity. Selected organizations will be awarded up to $40,000 to support staff, $60,000 of in-kind technical support from BHPN, and facilitated connections to a national network of peer support. Proposals due March 18th.
2) A survey to gather input from BIPOC-led CDCs or BIPOC-led nonprofits advancing revitalization efforts about how they are engaging with the health sector to better support partnerships that advance racial equity. February 28th is the last day for survey responses.
