Can you feel it? Taste it? Smell, See, Hear it? College basketball is back in one week, my sweet sweet theatergoers! We talk about Indianapolis hosting all rounds of the tournament. Subbi might have to drive on over from Chicago. Then we discuss Gregg Marshall’s resignation and we allow Taylor to two step as he basically called that he wouldn’t survive this. We also talk Rick Pitino wanting to delay the season and introduce May Madness. Honestly, you can call it whatever the hell you want just give me tournament basketball. Then we bring back an oldie but a goodie segment: This Week In Theat and round it out with Hugs

Since 1998, Sigma Phi Epsilon at the University of Memphis has been actively raising money for St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. Every fall, the Tennessee Beta chapter orchestrates the Sigma Phi Epsilon Haunted House to benefit St. Jude Children

As you all may know, it’s been a hot minute since we undergrads have provided you all with chapter updates. As we move forward, we are striving to improve our communication with the alumni and community of TN Beta. With that being said, here are some updates on our recent successes.

- 27 current members recruited 33 new members this Fall Rush.
- New member GPA average is a 3.75
- We have the largest new member class on campus!
- On track to receive “Most Improved Chapter” and “Chapter of the Year” in the same award year!
- Current manpower is at 60
- We are in the running for both the Talent Power Award and the Excelsior Award
- We have two applicants for Tragos Quest To Greece

The past at TN Beta has been rocky as you all may know, but the future is bright!

Haunted House is just around the corner and we are striving to hit the $15,000 mark. A total we have never seen. We would love to see some alumni faces at Haunted House and if there are any potential donors out there, any and every dollar helps us hit our total! We have sponsorship packets available for businesses.

We have an Epsilon ritual date set for October 20th and would be happy to host any alum that would like to attend.

On April 18th, TN Beta is hosting the annual “Skate 4 Kids Sake” Philanthropy event benefiting Big Brother Big Sisters.

For the last 100 years BBBS has worked to place caring mentors with children all over the country that may be at risk to falling into a life of crime.

Also, we are hosting a volleyball tournament and cookout on Monday at 5:30 at the house. The entry fee for a 6 man team is $50.
