To all who have somehow landed here.

This is Cathryn’s husband, Richard Links.

Tomorrow marks a year since my dear Cathryn lost her valiant battle with an aggressive form of cancer. After being hospitalized at UCSF’s Long Hospital in SF for two weeks of mostly palliative care, she was discharged on 6/28/23 and I drove her straight up to our place here in Mendocino. Her condition worsened and she was hospitalized at the Adventist Hospital in Fort Bragg. There was nothing more that could be done for Cathryn except to lessen her pain and discomfort, and she fully accepted her fate. Cathryn slipped away in the early afternoon of July 3rd, 2023.

There isn’t one day that I don’t miss my wonderful and creative wife.

Let’s raise a toast to Cathryn and remember the good times we all had with her. I know that Cathryn’s beautiful spirit hovers above at all times.

Among the many awards the new Eden Medical Center project won, I was honored to fly to Boston to receive the prestigious SNCR award (Society for New Communications Research) at the Harvard Faculty Club, on behalf of my company, Creative Sage, our client, Sutter Health, and my colleague on the social media and PR aspects of the project, Shelly Gordon, founder of G2 Communications. This memory will last forever, and we must thank Cassandra Rose, who was responsible for retaining us, and who was our primary partner / collaborator at Sutter Health / Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, CA.:
