Rate increases are happening across the country. Why are people still buying electricity this way? 13.99% rate increase, if approved will start in 2026, needed for grid upgrades, power pole replacement, etc., the rate payers again get to pay the bill.

Arizona Public Service has applied to raise its rates again, adding an extra $20 per month for an average household across the state.

Have you felt the 13% rate increase that occurred on October 1? I have a customer with a $350 average, $.38 per kilowatt hour avg. A 13% rate increase means $395 average with a $.42 average. Insane, Solar rates are half of that.

Working with some companies that have some great cash prices, in QuickTime lines, just got one off the ground yesterday, with a nice power wall battery. However, the power purchase agreements have a little more time. Don’t miss out.

Did you know you can get about 50% back in tax benefits when you purchase a system? So one of the solar companies I sell for has brought on an accounting firm. They offer a tax service that helps you maximize your tax benefits with a purchased solar system, Everyone knows about the 30% ITC, but did you know the IRS looks at solar systems as a money producing asset? Yes, you technically sell power to the utility. For that reason you can write the system off! Depreciate it over 5 years, and write off the interest on your loan? Contact me for more info. The example below shows a 50% tax savings, (not counting the interest), of a $40,000 system, net cost, $18,820! Best solar related thing I've learned in the last decade.
