Assembly Line
Reports to: Plant Manager Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary
The Assembly Line employee will work in all positions of our assembly line. While working directly with at least three other employees, an Assembly Line employee is responsible for quality an uniformity for all firewood bundles.
Employment Standards
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must possess strong attention to detail skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to promote and maintain a strong working team culture.
Ability to handle pressure in a fast paced environment with minimal direction and supervision.
Demonstrate a firm commitment to provide consistently exceptional performance.
Possess effective time management and multi-tasking skills.
Must be self-motivated and able and willing to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, in accordance with business needs.
Present a quality oriented image where every interaction is conducted in a courteous manner.
Be a positive role model for all team members providing support and enthusiasm.
Must be able to stand, bend down, and stoop low for up to 9 hours a day.
Principal Responsibilities
Ability to drive fork lift a plus but not required
Ability to move dynamically across the production line to ensure all processes are functioning at optimum level.
Maintain high standards of company rules and regulations.
Assist in training new team members at a level consistent with company standards.
Assist in following and enforcing safety standards and compliance with Beaver Creek Wood Products Employee Manual.
Identify and correct conditions that may affect employee and customer safety.
Identify opportunities for improvement and escalate recommendations to management.
Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
