Limited space for heavy deployments? No problem.

Over in Valencia, Enerpac tools continue to deliver safe, reliable results for movement applications. Global port and terminal operator APM Terminals transported their heavy spreaders, weighing up to 13 tonnes, using a combination of Enerpac E-Movers, 50t Capacity Hydraulic Cylinders, and MLS-Series Load Skates.

“The Enerpac E-mover has made a big difference to our container spreader maintenance operations,” says Equipment Project Engineer Joan Carbó. “The ease of deploying and using the E-mover makes maintenance safer and quicker, lifting our safety standards, and allowing us to fully optimise the space available in the workshop.”

Not all sites have the space for large overhead cranes; that’s where Enerpac comes in.

SIMI Trasporti recently installed a 324-ton steam generator at a Northern Italian power plant, overcoming a constrained layout with support from Enerpac HSL 20006 Strand Jacks.

Lifting the generator 16 metres using four strand jacks, the operation was a great success. “Executing a lift of this magnitude within an existing facility required meticulous planning,” a SIMI spokesperson said. “The strand jack system enabled controlled movement and millimetric positioning of the steam generator.”
