With the Holidays fast approaching, here are some words to share from my client today, just to keep things in perspective!
Thanksgiving and cooking:
1. Most favorite part of the meal? Ohhhhh the gravy! Oh boy is that good! Be careful though, you NEVER want to cook it on high, and remember it takes a long time to make, seems like an hour!
2. Must have cranberry jello, the kids eat it like candy!
3. You should have mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes, but never take shortcuts when making them! Cut the sweet potatoes and cook them, don't mash them, they aren't as good! Oh, and don't forget the syrup! The mashed potatoes are easy, you just need lots of butter for taste.
4. Make sure you have lots of rolls and they are kept nice and warm.
5. Thanksgiving dessert is just pies. You need to make 2 apple and 2 pumpkin, everyone knows apple is the favorite though. It is exhausting keeping everyone entertained & desserts coming, that's why you have to make enough, people LOVE desserts!
6. Don't be bothered by anyone. I mean it, when you are baking, you are baking, everyone can wait!
7. Fingers are not allowed in bowls, only forks!
8. Make sure everyone has a chair!
9. All Daughters have to clean up....even if they had to peel the potatoes!!!
A VERY HAPPY AND BLESSED THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL!!
