We’re hiring! The Central California SBDC Network at UC Merced is seeking our next Regional Director.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a 14-county network dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and small businesses start, grow, and succeed across Central California.

We’re looking for an experienced leader with a strong background in economic development, small business support, grant-funded programs, or related work. Just as importantly, a genuine connection to and passion for Central California, its communities, and its small businesses is highly encouraged. We want someone who understands what makes this region unique and is excited about helping shape its economic future.

The Regional Director will provide strategic leadership for the Network, oversee approximately $4 million in annual funding, build partnerships across the region, and work closely with UC Merced, the U.S. Small Business Administration, state and local partners, and our SBDC Service Centers.

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment) Implementation Team, in partnership with the California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA), will host a webinar to help small businesses understand and comply with California's Proposition 65 law.

OEHHA staff will provide an overview of business requirements, explain who must provide Proposition 65 warnings, how to determine when a warning is required, and the proper way to provide those warnings.
