Omni Signs

It’s that time of year again! 🍎

09/06/2026

We’ve been making signs for Charlie St. Clair since we opened our shop in 1991. It started with the Colorado Club sign in the Weirs and then the Laconia Motorcycle Week signs and over the road banners. Also, his Antique store.
He was a true “man for all seasons” and extremely loyal and kind.

I’ll always remember that once he found out that I was born in Iowa, I would sometimes get a text from him reading, “Look where I am!”. He was in Iowa - usually on his way to Sturgis!

My favorite part of working with Charlie was the annual date changes and logo updates on his vans. That’s when he had time to hang out and sometimes try to help - LOL! Those are the times we had the best conversations, best bitch sessions about the current state of affairs, AND the best laughs!

Yesterday I had to do it without him and it wasn’t easy. I decided I needed to add my own tribute to him.
35 years was a good run but not long enough, Charlie!

A cosmic injustice. We lost a good one!

It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that Charlie passed away on August 22nd after suffering catastrophic injuries from his August 4th accident. Despite every effort, his injuries were too severe, and he ultimately passed away from heart failure.
We are sincerely thankful to the entire team at Cleveland’s MetroHealth 5 West and to Nurse Brittany on 5 East. We are eternally grateful for the kindness, compassion, and care they showed Charlie.

Charlie is incredibly fortunate to have so many friends and family. To everyone who called, prayed, sent messages/cards, and surrounded Charlie with so much love and positive energy, we cannot thank you enough for being there for him and for us.

Once we have more information regarding services and how we will celebrate Charlie’s remarkable life, we will share those details.

Thank you for loving Charlie. ❤️

Before and after.
We made this sign about 25 years ago!!
It held up well, but it was in desperate need of refurbishment. Now it looks new again! (Well ONE side! Working on the second side now).

If only we all could look like we did 25 years ago!🤭

Mike, from M&EM Suds and Systems did an amazing job cleaning the algae/mildew growth off our building!
It looks brand new!
I only wish I had a before picture - it was bad.😩
