Cornerstone Caregiving celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting Tuesday evening, welcoming a great crowd to its new Meridian office!

🏡 The company helps seniors maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes with services including bathing assistance, meal preparation, transportation and more.

We’re looking for volunteers for America’s Freedom Tribute! 🇺🇸

Cornerstone Caregiving is incredibly proud to sponsor America’s Freedom Tribute, October 9–11 at East MS Veterans Park, as a way to honor the veterans we have the privilege of serving every day — and all of the men and women who have served our country. ❤️🤍💙

I also have the honor of serving as the Volunteer Coordinator for this event, and we need our community’s help!

Whether you can give one hour or several, we would love to have you. Maybe you’re part of Beta Club, a church group, civic organization, school organization, business, or community group. Maybe you have a veteran in your family, are a veteran yourself, or simply want an opportunity to give back and show your appreciation — there is a place for you to serve!

💜 Today is World Alzheimer’s Day. 💜

More than 55 million people worldwide are living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias but behind every number is a person, a family, a caregiver, and a story.

At Cornerstone Caregiving, we’re honored to walk alongside families navigating dementia and Alzheimer’s, providing support, companionship, respite, and care when it’s needed most.

Today, we wear purple for the memories, the caregivers, the families, and the hope for a future without Alzheimer’s.

If you’re caring for someone living with dementia and aren’t sure where to turn, please know you don’t have to navigate it alone. Our team is always here to be a resource, answer questions, and help connect families with available support.

Together, we can raise awareness, show compassion, and make sure no family feels alone in this journey.💜

Tomorrow we’re proud to join Footprints Adult Day Services for their Paint the Town Purple event in support of individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.

At Cornerstone Caregiving, supporting caregivers and the families they love is at the heart of what we do, so we’re especially excited to be part of an event that brings awareness, encouragement, and community together in such a meaningful way.

We’ll be there helping celebrate the incredible families Footprints serves — and we’ve even brought a few sweet treats and a little something special for the caregivers. 🫶🏼💜

Join Footprints Adult Day Services as we Paint the Town Purple on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. We are encouraging participants to wear purple in support of local families/caregivers of those dealing with Alzheimer's. You can also show your support by purchasing support bows for $5.00 or a yard sign for $10.00. Proceeds will go to the Walk2END Alzheimer's. We look forward to seeing you there!
