Sawtooth Concepts is looking for a Project Coordinator to develop and coordinate project schedules, monitor project progress, and ensure that projects are completed according to schedule and specifications.

What You Would Do:
- Prepare and coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information
- Prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects
- Prepare appropriate paperwork (e.g. contracts, warranties, etc.) as directed
- Document significant events and changes to projects and complete change orders as directed
- Monitor project progress and resolve basic issues that arise, notifying leadership of more complex issues
- Regularly communicate with drafters, contractors, customers, and production to provide updates, clarify details, and resolve issues
- Submit and track orders for job materials
- Complete change orders required for site changes
- Ensure clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
- Participate in quality control during manufacturing and on the job site
- Participate in cabinet production, construction, and installation as directed
- Work with Drafter to ensure product meets specifications
- Work with Drafter to determine material needs, place orders, and maintain records for all projects
- Work closely with the Shop Foreman and Installation Foreman to ensure supplies maintain proper inventory levels
- Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit using hand tools such as planes, chisels, or wood files
- Assemble cabinet parts with glue, nails, or other fasteners and fit, and clamp parts and subassemblies together to form units
- Sand and scrape surfaces and joints to prepare components for finishing
- Install hardware such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls
- Restock parts and hardware, unload, sort, and put away materials in the shop
- Clean and maintain shop work areas, including machinery and tools, to ensure a safe working environment
- Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed
You Should Have:
- 2 years of project coordination preferably in the construction industry
- Associate degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Project Management or equivalent experience.
Things You Should Know & Be Able to Do:
- Basic knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
- Knowledge of commercial and residential construction principles, documents, techniques, and procedures
- Must have a basic working knowledge of all tools and equipment operated in a cabinet shop, including but not limited to: Forklift, Power tools, hand tools, table saw, router, drill, sander, planer, shaper, panel saw, CNC router, edge ba**er, and other specialty cabinet fabrication equipment
- Good communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read and understand specifications and architectural drawings
- Good time management and work prioritization skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to maintain general job costs and project budgets
- Strong working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
- Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require walking or standing up to 50% of the time
- On days where assistance is needed in Production or Installation, work requires the ability to frequently stand, bend, squat, walk, reach above shoulder level, perform repetitive manual dexterity, have both arms and legs accessible and occasionally crawl
- Must be able to lift and move up to 70 lbs. safely throughout the facility repeatedly
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs, step stools, ladders, scaffolding, platform ladders or mechanically elevated devices
- Ability to frequently stand, bend, squat, walk, reach above shoulder level, perform repetitive manual dexterity, have both arms and legs accessible and occasionally, sit, and crawl
- Frequently works around loud noises
