Digging in the city you never know what you will find! Excavating for new duplexes in East Chicago we found unsuitable soils under the foundation footprint. We over excavated, hauled off bad soils imported engineered fill and compacted in lifts to hold up the foundation. The new Hyundai 160 is pretty sweet!
