One of the most likely times for housefires to start? Once it starts getting cold. ❄

Seems contradictory, right? Why would fires start when it gets colder?

Well, once the furnace gets turned back on, it can start problems.

Here's what you can do to prevent that:

👉 Have your furnace serviced. It's always a good idea to get it checked at least once during the colder months to make sure all components are working correctly.

👉 Change your filter regularly. Your filter can collect gunk overtime and lead to a higher chance of starting a fire. Change it at least once per month.

And if the worst does happen, make sure you have a plan in place: document everything, and make sure you know who to call.

As reported by CNBC, more than 70% of insured homeowners were underinsured by an average of 20%, according to analysis done by California Western School of Law.

In most cases, people don't find out they're underinsured until the moment they need their policy the most.

We see coverage gaps, undervalued scopes, and missed line items in many claims we handle, and they're a lot harder to fight after you've already signed a settlement.

You paid for that policy. You deserve to know what it covers before it's too late to ask.

If you're going through an insurance claim, the last thing you want to worry about is if the person you hired to help is doing poorly at their job.

This client, in particular, had issues of their limits being hit before the claim was fully paid.
