While the weather is over 90° here in New England, we just received the final proof of our private-label ice melt bag.
There is nothing more meaningful to me or this business than this bag.
Just over two years ago, when Bryan wanted to start this company, I told him, "Let's be different. Let's focus on service and helping contractors grow their businesses." That became the foundation of everything we do.
Tomorrow marks two years since we lost Bryan. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him. I know he's watching over us and smiling, knowing that we stayed true to the values we built together and that the company continues to grow.
A while back, a memory popped up of Bryan spreading ice melt on a commercial walkway when he was just 12 years old. Seeing that photo brought back so many memories. I remembered how proud he was to be working alongside me, and at that moment I knew that photo had to become part of something special.
That picture now lives on the front of our Legacy Ice Melt bag.
Bryan helped start this business, and every day we work to carry his legacy forward. Now that legacy will be represented through a premium blend ice melt that means far more than a product ever could.
The emotions behind this bag are difficult to put into words. The first 70,000 bags arrive this September, and we know this is only the beginning. We have plans for additional products under the Legacy line, all inspired by the values, work ethic, and dreams that started this journey.
