UPDATE: Thanks to our incredibly generous and supportive community, we have already started stocking our shelves with kitten and cat food and are no longer in need of food donations. We are so appreciative of your help ❤
HAPPENING NOW: 53 felines taken in from a single home in Rockingham County.
On Friday, May 16, our team responded to a call about a situation with an overwhelming number of cats. That day, we brought 25 cats back with us. This morning, we returned and took in the remaining 28.
About two hours ago, the final group of cats arrived safe and sound at the New Hampshire SPCA. Our team is currently examining each cat and providing appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. We have discovered that the majority of these cats are sick and will need to be monitored by our veterinary team over the coming weeks.
Can you help us keep their bellies full and ensure their stay with us is as comfortable as possible? We are in urgent need of wet kitten and cat food. If you are able to help us provide comfort and kindness to these cats, we’d be very appreciative.
