What if the “missing piece” to your health isn’t complicated… just overlooked?
Would your daily habits pass a “health check”?

The truth is, good health doesn’t start with something complicated. It starts with optimizing a few foundational areas.
They may seem simple… but they’re also the most commonly neglected.

This is where true self-care actually lives.

Focusing on these areas allows you to be proactive with your health—supporting your body before something goes wrong—instead of being reactive and trying to fix things after a diagnosis or health event.

And here’s something to think about:
Up to 80% of chronic illness is linked to lifestyle factors—and in many cases, can be prevented or improved.

So what are these foundational pillars of health?
✨ Nutrition
Prioritizing real, whole foods—fruits, vegetables, quality proteins, and whole grains—while limiting processed foods.
💧 Hydration
Drinking enough water daily (a simple guide: minimum about half your body weight in ounces).
😴 Sleep
Getting 7–9 hours of quality, restorative sleep.
🏃‍♀️ Movement
Moving your body intentionally every day—walking, yoga, strength training (ideally 3–4 times per week).
🧘‍♀️ Stress Management
Creating space for your nervous system to regulate—through meditation, journaling, time in nature, or simply slowing down.
🤍 Social Connection
Nurturing meaningful relationships and having a supportive community.

These are the basics.
This is where you begin.
This is where real, lasting change happens.
When you support these areas consistently things start to shift.
And honestly…This is where the magic is.

Why did I transition away from traditional nursing and move into coaching?

It’s a question I get asked often.

During my years working in the hospital, I began noticing a pattern. Many of the people I cared for were living with chronic illnesses—heart disease, diabetes, obesity—and they often knew they needed to make changes, but they didn’t know how… or how to stay consistent with it.

A doctor might tell them what to do, but without a clear framework or ongoing support, many people felt overwhelmed, lost, or frustrated and ended up doing nothing at all. So many times I felt like if a patient could have made changes years early their lives would have been different.

That’s when something really clicked for me:

I still work as a nurse part-time and truly love what I do—but I’ve realized my deeper purpose is in coaching, where I can support people more consistently and help them create lasting change in their health and their lives.

People don’t just need information… they need support.

They need someone walking alongside them.
Someone helping them stay accountable.
Someone encouraging them when it gets hard.

Because the truth is:
Sometimes we need accountability.
Sometimes we need support.
Sometimes we need someone to hold our hand & walk with us.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!

When someone walks alongside you, the chances of developing lasting, healthy habits increase. Habits take time to build, and having someone to hold you accountable makes it much more likely that you’ll follow through on what you truly want for your health and your life.

Happy New Year ✨

I’m welcoming this new year with intention.
A year of new beginnings.
Of slowing down.
Of finding peace — and choosing joy.

This year, I’m focusing less on what I want to do and more on who I want to be and
how I want to feel.

Last year had its ups and downs.
I grew, expanded, and continued stepping outside my comfort zone.
I also struggled, faltered, got stuck at times, and doubted myself.

And all of it was part of the journey.

Moving forward, I’m choosing to fully be who I am.
To show up authentically.
To step out of fear and into confidence.
To move toward strength and health — in my body, mind, and spirit.
And to grow my work in a way that feels aligned and joyful...
so I can help others do the same.

So I’ll ask you…
What do you want your life to look like this year?
How do you want it to feel?
Who do you want to be?
How do you want to show up each day?
What do you want to embody?

👋🎉As we jump into 2023 & many of us are looking to make some personal gains I wanted to update what I am up to.

😁I am a registered nurse & holistic health/wellness coach. I have a private coaching practice called Everyday Evolution Coaching. As everyday we are evolving & growing 🪷

🌟Coaching has become my passion & I truly love what I do. I provide support to to help clients get healthy, take better care of themselves physically & mentally, & get to a place of being able to thrive✨

Coaching provides a safe space for growth & change. A place to be heard & supported.
