Day 2 of the $1,800 patio drywall build in Queen Creek, AZ
Installed the L metals gave them 2 coats with Westpac White-dot, gave all the seams and edges a light sand and move on to the 2nd coat. Followed by some Santa Fe texture using red line, a light sand and it’s ready for paint.

When doing outdoor patio ceilings, using 1/2” exterior board is crucial to withstand moisture and Arizona heat. The homeowner requested pink mesh tape, so we floated the seams wider for a seamless finish.
