Did you start a business with your spouse in 2023? Congratulations! But do you know which tax return to file? If two or more people form an LLC the IRS considers that a Partnership and is expecting a 1065 Partnership return on March 15th.

For spouses in a community property state (like Arizona!) you can decide to treat your LLC as a Qualified Joint Venture and report it as a Single Member LLC on your personal return. Reach out to learn more and get that business return filed on time!
