🚫 California just banned disposable ni****ne v**es.

Gov. Newsom signed AB 762. Starting January 1, 2028, retailers can no longer sell disposable, battery-embedded ni****ne v**es. Import and manufacturing get restricted a year earlier.

Why? The sealed lithium batteries are sparking fires in trash trucks, landfills, and recycling facilities. California waste groups have been pushing for this because the devices weren’t built to be handled safely once they’re tossed.

Cannabis v**es are exempt for now, but the battery fire problem is the same no matter what’s inside.

It’s a problem California lawmakers are trying to address with a new law that will phase disposable ni****ne v**es out of stores across the state starting in 2028. Governor Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill 762, which prohibits the sale of disposable v**es by 2028.
