Barefoot Knitter Expert Knitter, Master Teacher, Custom Designer and Finisher I've spent the last 20 years knitting like crazy or teaching knitters of all skill levels.

There's nothing I like better than curling up with yarn and needles and creating something fabulous for myself or those I love. From the age of 7, my mom said I was culling thru her yarn basket pulling out all the "sparkly" yarns. I knit sporadically thru high school and college, and even fell prey to the infamous "curse of the boyfriend sweater"! My needles were quiet for a brief time and when I

found myself bedridden at the end of my first pregnancy, my needles and yarn became my comfort and joy. Since then, I have rarely set my needles down, and at least a dozen or so projects are at my fingertips. My greatest joy is being able to bring this beautiful craft to new students or seeing knitters learn a new technique and the smile that brings to their faces! Many of my clients say that I'm a math whiz when it comes to patterns - I'm fortunate that with my mathematical and financial background I'm able to easily design, write, and adapt patterns for all sizes and shapes. I love taking favorite elements and putting them together with beautiful yarns and fibers to create a one of a kind work of art, in simple couture form. Come knit with me!
