Traditionally, rotor & fixed-wing operators and maintenance facilities have replaced worn and damaged components with new OEM spares. That has changed.

Because in the past, there simply was no other alternative. Our FAA approved repair products provide a lower cost alternative to new. Our experienced technical staff works in conjunction with the FAA and, in some cases, the OEM engineers to design
, approve and implement proprietary component repairs. Our product base consists of thousands of repairs covering a vast array of components from Bell,

Sikorsky, Eurocopter & McDonnell-Douglas helicopters and Boeing & Airbus aircraft. And that list is continuously expanding. Our repairs typically cost a fraction of new. We save aircraft operators and maintenance facilities millions of dollars every year. All of our repairs are FAA approved, include an 8130 certification and a full one year/one-thousand hour warranty on workmanship. For the Advanced Sources and Detectors (ASD) Scorpius project, Sandia National Laboratories approached Able Aerospace to push cold spray beyond existing processes. Nearly a year and a half of R&D later, we delivered – while expanding our capabilities in the process.
