Once I stopped chasing perfection in cybersecurity readiness, everything got easier.

What changed?

We stopped treating security like a “someday” project and started treating it like contract protection—because there are too many contractors and not enough qualified resources, and the backlog is only getting worse. With CMMC audits ramping in the November timeframe, companies that can’t prove readiness will lose contracts, even if they believe they’re “close.” TXAZ Consulting Services has the solution to help you move from uncertainty to defensible readiness.

We perform CMMC Readiness Assessments for Government contractors.

If you’re trying to obtain CMMC Level 1 or 2, this helps ensure you don't waste money because your readiness is quickly assessed and you have a roadmap to remediate.

We built this after seeing many organizations struggle with this. This service is not checklist driven, no tools needed, and no vendor pitches to buy more technology.
Just defensible clarity before compliance. {{common problem or insight}}.

If you support the DoD (or want to), you need to be able to prove CMMC readiness—not just hope you’re close. Because when a prime or assessor asks for evidence, “we’re working on it” won’t protect your bid. Readiness means you can show: what controls are in place - what’s documented (SSP / policies) - evidence of what’s actually implemented - what evidence you can produce on demand.📩 Call us for a free 15-minute “CMMC” readiness call and I’ll help you quickly understand where you stand, what gaps matter most, and what to do next to stay eligible.

This is how a company lost a DoD contract.
No breach.
No malware.
No nation-state actor.
One shared admin account. (Why?)
The assessor asked:
“Who used this account last Thursday at 2:17 PM?”
They couldn’t answer.
Control failed: AU.L2-3.3.1
Result: Conditional denial → remediation clock → contract loss risk.
Failure to Meet a Material Contract Requirement
If the contract includes:
DFARS 252.204-7012
DFARS 252.204-7020 / 7021 (as applicable)
CMMC Level 2 requirement (when triggered)
Then cybersecurity compliance is not optional. It is a material condition of performance.
Failure to meet a material requirement = grounds for termination or non-award.
Inability to Produce Objective Evidence
CMMC is evidence-based, not intent-based.
If the company:
Has policies but cannot show enforcement
Cannot attribute actions to individuals
Cannot demonstrate control operation over time
Then the assessor documents:
“Control not implemented as required.”

🚨 ATTENTION Phoenix-Area Aerospace & Manufacturing: CMMC is Not a Future Problem. It's an IMMEDIATE Business Risk. 🛑
If you support the DoD or DoW supply chain in Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, or Phoenix, the clock is WINDING DOWN on CMMC compliance. Delaying your readiness is the fastest way to lose eligibility for future contracts.

Why You Must Start Your CMMC Compliance NOW:

1. The Assessment Backlog is Real: Achieving CMMC Level 2 typically takes 6–18 months. If you wait until the last minute, you will be stuck behind hundreds of competitors fighting for a limited number of C3PAO assessors. No assessment = No contract.

2. SPRS/FCA Risk: If you sign an annual attestation in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) and are later found non-compliant, you open your organization to potential False Claims Act (FCA) lawsuits and massive fines.

3. Limited POA&Ms: You can't fix major gaps after the fact. The Department of Defense has strict limitations on Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms), forcing you to address significant deficiencies before the assessment.

We specialize in guiding local DIB companies through the complexity of: ✅ NIST SP 800-171 Implementation ✅ CMMC Readiness & Gap Analysis ✅ Full-Spectrum Cybersecurity Strategy
