My 13-year-old daughter set up a little table in the yard to sell the toys she had crocheted — and then a man on a motorcycle pulled up and said, "I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOUR MOM FOR 10 YEARS."

My husband died when our daughter Ava was only 2 years old.

Since then, it had been just the two of us.

Eleven years passed, and life seemed to have settled down, but recently I was diagnosed with cancer.

I'm undergoing treatment, and I'm fighting for my life because I dream of seeing my daughter grow up.

Insurance doesn't cover even half the cost of the treatment, but little by little, we are managing.

I started noticing that Ava had taken up crocheting. My mother had taught her a while ago, and Ava seemed to really enjoy it.

Ava said it was her hobby and that she really liked it.

One Saturday, I came home from chemotherapy and saw that my daughter had set up a table in our yard and displayed the toys she had crocheted herself.

I was speechless.

I ran up to Ava and asked,

"Honey, did you make all of this and decide to sell it?"

She smiled and said,

"Yes, Mommy, I want to help you get better sooner, so I'm selling toys."

My chest tightened so much that I could barely breathe.

I saw the neighbors gathering to buy Ava's toys.

I kissed her on the forehead and went into the house to rest. I was exhausted after chemotherapy.

Suddenly, I heard a strange sound.

Through the window, I saw a MAN in a leather jacket on a motorcycle.

He definitely was not a neighbor. I opened the door to go over there when suddenly he walked up to my daughter's table and looked at the toys.

I stood nearby, around the corner, and heard their conversation.

Ava shyly asked,

"Sir, would you like to buy a toy?"

He smiled, looked at her, and said,

"Oh, sweetheart, I'm sorry, but I've been looking for your mom for 10 years. Please, if it's not too hard for you, call her."

I started walking toward them, and the man raised his head.

Finally, I could see his face clearly.

My blood ran cold when I recognized WHO it was.

I screamed, "OH MY GOD, THIS CAN'T BE TRUE!" ⬇️

At only nine years old, Ken is already well on his way to achieving his dream. He’s not aiming to be a sports star or an astronaut. Ken wants to "help the stray dogs and cats on the streets" by opening a no-kill shelter: so he did.
He named it "The Happy Animals Club", and his initiative has already transformed the lives of three very sick homeless puppies: Blackie, Brownie, and White Puppy. They are now not only healthy and happy (look at those faces!) but also alive because of one little boy’s dream.
Thanks to international support, Ken is now expanding his shelter, with the hope of giving a second chance to even more animals who so desperately need it.

This lady visited a shelter to adopt a puppy, then she saw this old abandoned blind dog who had spend already many years in his box without the love of a family. She went home with this beautiful dog🐾🐾♥️

This is Hachikō. He was an Akita born on Nov. 10, 1923 in Japan. He was sold to Hidesaburo Ueno, a scientist at the University of Tokyo. Ueno named him Hachi after the number 8, which is considered lucky in Japan, and the two became inseparable. Every day, Hachi walked to Shibuya Station with Ueno for his commute, and he returned each evening to pick him up. This routine continued daily until May 21, 1925. On that sad day, Ueno left for work and never returned, after suffering a fatal cerebral hemorrhage while lecturing.

Despite Ueno's absence, Hachi continued to wait for him at the station daily. Hachi bounced between several homes, including some miles from Shibuya, before settling with Ueno’s former gardener. No matter the distance, Hachi returned to the station daily to wait patiently for his owner. In 1932, a former student of Ueno’s published an article about the dog's vigil, and Hachi's story blew up. Hachi became a symbol of loyalty, and “-ko,” a suffix used as a sign of respect, was added to his name. Now called Hachikō, he started receiving pets and treats from people at the station while he awaited his owner.

In 1934, a life-sized statue of the loyal dog was erected at Shibuya Station, and Hachikō himself attended the unveiling ceremony. Hachikō died the next year at the age of 11. Each year since 1936, a solemn ceremony at Shibuya station has been held to honor his devotion. Hachikō's ashes were buried beside Ueno’s in Tokyo. After nine years, nine months and fifteen days, Hachikō was finally reunited with his beloved owner he missed so much.
