🔥 Supporting Our South Georgia Firefighters & First Responders 🔥

With the recent fires impacting South Georgia, SA Recycling – Metter is stepping up to support the brave firefighters and first responders working tirelessly on the front lines.

We are collecting donations to send directly to these men and women as they continue battling these dangerous conditions.

Items needed:

• Eye drops
• Nasal spray
• Wipes
• Protein bars
• Slim Jims
• Chapstick
• Bug spray
• New socks
• New shirts

Every contribution helps. Please spread the word so we can give back to those who are putting their lives at risk to protect our communities.

SA Recycling-Savannah Region participated in Fire Training today for our Drivers. When it comes to safety, SA Recycling takes it extremely seriously. The Drivers did hands on training to physically learn the procedure on how to properly use a fire extinguisher. These types of trainings save lives and help us grow a culture driven by safety.

Thanksgiving with our Metter Crew!

On November 26th, our friend and Metter, GA local, Chris Clifton joined us with his steamer to help cook a delicious Low Country Boil for the team. It was the perfect way to celebrate the holiday together great food, great company, and plenty of Thanksgiving spirit.

This morning, SA Recycling Metter joined the Halloween fun at Metter Elementary School’s Trunk or Treat event. General Manager Bryan Sparks and Guadalupe Guerrero handed out candy to more than 1,250 excited students, spreading smiles and sweet treats throughout the day.

In observance of the holiday, we’ll be closing early on Wednesday, December 24th at 3:00 PM and will remain closed on December 25th and 26th.

We’ll reopen on Monday, December 29th with normal business hours.
