As we maneuver through life's unpredictable challenges. It is often difficult to stay encouraged.
As I go through changes that feel shattering, I am grateful for a foundation of love, respect, kindness, compassion, and strength. I am also grateful for my circle of sisters. While we may not speak every day, they always know when I need them and are there without hesitation. Thank you, Sistas! You know who you are. I love each of you to the moon and back.
As entrepreneurs, we have days we want to give up, and feel like no one supports us. But I assure you that is the time to keep going.
As introverts, when life gets crazy, it drains us making it feel impossible to show up for our businesses and others.
As wives and mothers we continue to pour from an empty cup and wonder why we feel burnt out. We show up but are distracted by everything else we feel needs to be done now.
While we can't change what life has throws our way, we can change how we respond to it.
Instead we need to practice:
-Self Compassion - allow yourself to feel, to breathe, to be still, to step away for moments of reset
- Giving yourself grace to not have it all figured out, grace to show up for yourself, grace to say NO without the guilt.
- Making time to spend with the people we love, and joining communities that will support you in the areas you need most. Connection is an important human need.
-Surround yourself with things that bring you joy. What are those things that light up your spirit? Is it listening to music, playing a sport, or another type of hobby?
So WHATEVER is going on. You don't have to go through it alone. Commit to doing at least one of these things above.
If you are an introvert struggling to start or level up your business, connect with our community for support and collaboration.
