She began her career as a sales associate at Saks Fifth Avenue in Bal Harbour Shops at 18 years old, being the youngest employee in the entire store. From there, she moved on to Miami’s newest shopping mecca, Design District, where she became the Assistant Store Manager at Scotch & Soda, servicing the likes of Virgil Abloh, Christian Louboutin and Gabrielle Union, to name a few.
While attending
school simultaneously, Shaneil worked full-time while being the Fashion Editor of her school’s quarterly published magazine. She then took on to the role of Supervisor at The Webster, one of Miami’s leading multi-brand retailers. After years of working in luxury retail management, sales, styling and fashion, she was determined to transition into Public Relations.
Shaneil began pursuing new opportunities and soon became the Executive Assistant at TARA, Ink. Within a year, she was promoted to an Account Coordinator, and then an Associate Account Executive. Throughout her tenure at TARA, Ink, she has represented hotels, restaurants, and luxury lifestyle brands such as EAST Miami, Faena Hotel Miami Beach, Sports Illustrated, Caviar Russe, Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, 1 Hotel South Beach and Bagatelle Miami Beach, amongst others.
Shaneil has solidified herself as one of the industry’s growing experts and has been commended for her personal style, drive and ambition. Her current focus is being a publicist, writer, creative consultant and social media strategist.
