🚨 SCAM ALERT — WATCH OUT FOR BAIL BOND FRAUD 🚨
If your loved one gets arrested in Palm Beach County or Broward County, PLEASE be careful who you send money to.
Scammers are calling family members pretending to be connected to the jail, courts, or bail system saying:
⚠️ “You must pay immediately for an ankle monitor.”⚠️ “Your loved one cannot be released unless you send payment now.”⚠️ “Pay through Cash App, Zelle, Apple Pay, or gift cards.”
🚫 THIS IS A SCAM.
Before sending ANY money:✔️ Google the phone number calling you.✔️ Verify the company is real.✔️ Check for reviews, a website, and a legitimate business listing.✔️ Contact the jail or a licensed bail bondsman directly.
Nine times out of ten, these scammers have:❌ No business listing❌ No website❌ No real company attached to the number
