The Nova is built to be strong and light by combining a foam core composite laminate with a vacuum infusion process. We follow a laminate guideline created by Vectorply Corp., which is an industry leading performance composite manufacturer. The process starts with the use of high quality materials such as PVC foam core, Multi-axial knit fiberglass, and vinyl-ester resins. The C.A.D.-cut foam core

and fiberglass are loaded “dry” into the mold and vacuum bagged into place, the resin is then vacuum infused (injected) inside the vacuum bag, which yields a composite laminate that has a higher fiberglass to resin ratio which results in a composite laminate that's stronger as well as lighter. The composite stringers and bulkheads are all C.A.D.- cut; installed after the infusion bag is removed.
